PARKING

Because this year’s senior parking request was considerably higher than last year’s, there will only be 10-20 parking passes available in the “junior" lot (the back lot that exits to Flint Hill Dr.) and 80-90 spots available on the two gravel lots at the front of the building.  Since more juniors will request a pass than we have available, we will use a randomized lottery system to determine who gets a parking pass.  Preference will be given to junior students who will need to drive to Academy classes and junior students who will have their license by the beginning of the school year.

If you are a junior and would like to put your name in the lottery for a 2024-2025 parking pass, please fill out this form by August 5, 2024The form can only be accessed using a student’s @fcpsschools.net email account that begins with their student ID number.

Please note:

  • All juniors who completed the form and their parent/guardian will be contacted the week of August 5th to let them know whether or not they received a pass in the lottery. 
  • If you are selected to get a pass, actual parking tags will be given out first come, first served on pick-up days starting in mid-August.  Once all spots in the “junior” lot are given out, only gravel lot spots will be available.
  • Parking passes will cost $200.  Payment information will be sent out to all families getting a spot in early August.  Payment will be through MySchoolBucks and must be submitted before being able to pick up the parking pass.
  • When you fill out the form, please make sure that parent/guardian emails are inputted correctly since these email addresses will be used for subsequent communications.
