Ethics Day 2018 was hosted for the James Madison High School Class of 2019 on November 16, 2018. Held at the Vienna Community Center, over 100 community members volunteered their time to produce and facilitate the day.

Congratulations to Director of Student Services Tim Buckley, Assistant Principal Liz Calvert, and Assistant Principal Cheronda Farrish who were recognized at the 2018 FCPS Excellence Awards Ceremony for their efforts in the Student Achievement category for their efforts in closing the achievement gap over the course of a two year period.

With over 550 members of the freshmen class, Madison HS has developed a program to provide each freshmen with a peer mentor.

With a perfect season, the Lady Warhawks earned their second consecutive state champion title.

Congratulations to History and Social Studies Teacher Sarah Bartosiak, Special Education Teacher Andrea Jones, Building Engineer Steve Fox, and School Counselor Ashley Anderson on being recognized at the 2018 FCPS Honors Ceremony!

Our Buddies Club sponsored a variety of activities in recognition of Inclusive Schools Week. One of the big projects the club worked on was the Wings Mural. Students were invited to write their goals or words of motivation on a feather. Those feathers were then assembled to construct a large set of Wings for students to take pictures with.
