Junior Parking Passes

Based on current senior requests, there will be between 50-60 parking passes available in the “Junior" lot (the back lot that exits to Flint Hill Dr.) and 75 to 85 spots available on the two gravel lots at the front of the building. Based on previous years, we anticipate that there will be more requests than spots available. Looking at the current numbers,  we anticipate being able to give spots to about 75% of Juniors who request a spot.  If that is the case, we will use a randomized lottery system to assign spots; however, preference will be given to Junior students who will need to drive to Academy classes and Junior students who will have their license by the beginning of the school year.

If you are a Junior and would like to park on school grounds for the 2023-24 school year, please fill out this form by August 11, 2023.  The form can only be accessed using a student’s @fcpsschools.net email account that begins with their student ID number

Please note:

  • If you are selected to get a spot, actual parking tags will be given out first come, first served on pick-up days starting in mid August.  Once all spots in the “Junior” lot are given out, only gravel lot spots will be available.
  • Parking passes will most likely cost $200.  Payment information will be sent out to all families getting a spot in early August.  Payment will be through MySchoolBucks and must be completed before being able to pick up the parking pass.
  • When you fill out the form, please make sure that parent/guardian emails are inputted correctly since these email addresses will be used for subsequent communications.

Parking Pass Pick Up

The application form for Juniors closes August 11. Once the form has closed, juniors (and their parents) who requested a parking pass through the Junior Parking Request form will receive an email notifying them if they have been selected through the randomized lottery to get a parking pass or if they've been placed on the waiting list. For those receiving a parking pass, the email will also include payment information and next steps in the process. Selected juniors may pick up their pass from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on August 15 or 16 at Door 11. They must have proof of payment through MySchoolBucks (printed or emailed receipt or screen shot) and an ID to pick up their parking pass. The parking passes will be in either the junior lot or in the gravel lot.
