FCPS Students Win Awards in the 2021-22 VHSL Creative Writing Contest
Students from four Fairfax County public schools have won awards in the 2021-22 Virginia High School League (VHSL) Creative Writing Contest.
FCPS Laptop Collection
We are required to collect each student’s FCPS-assigned laptop by the end of this school year. For those students returning to JMHS in the fall, we will reimage each laptop this summer and students will receive their same laptop back in the fall.

Bridges Program - Summer 2022
Sign your rising 9th grader up for the Madison Bridges Program! There are two available sessions: July 25 – July 29 OR August 1 – August 5. The cost is $100.
Register for the Career and Technical Education Summer Academy
CTE Summer Academy (CSA) is a weekly enrichment program that allows students to dive deeper into CTE program areas and encourages skill development and career exploration. Students are able to personalize their experience by choosing which CTE classes they will take! Open to students in grades 7-11 during the 2021-22 school year. Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come basis until seats are filled. Register now.

Anticipated Bus Delays
Due to the bus driver shortage, we will be increasing “double back” bus runs, meaning a bus is required to run two scheduled routes back to back that would normally have been covered by two separate buses. These “double backs” may impact delivery time to schools or bus stops and may have a domino effect, affecting after-school drop-off times.
