Class of 2021
All seniors must pay their senior dues, which have been reduced to $50 for this year. Please pay senior dues through myschoolbucks.com (preferred) or by check made out to James Madison High School (JMHS), which can be dropped off at Door 1 or mailed to the school. Senior dues cover senior class events (such as the drive through breakfast, bundt cakes, tailgate, picnic, etc.), a senior class t-shirt, and all graduation expenses associated with a live ceremony at Jiffy Lube Live (including the venue, cap and gown, diploma and covers, etc.). In order to participate in the commencement exercises, seniors must settle all accounts with the Finance Office, including senior dues. Please check your payment history at myschoolbucks.com and/or your banking institution to ensure you have paid your senior dues.
We will be graduating together in person as a full class on June 1 as scheduled. Our ceremony will be held at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA and will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Jiffy Lube Live is a great facility that is less than a 30 minute drive from Madison High School. This is a new venue for us and we have much planning to do. We are still in the process of determining the number of guests each graduate can invite. We are also hoping to livestream graduation for family and friends unable to attend.

Prestige Studio, a branch of Lifetouch Studio, has worked with the Health Department and FCPS to put safety protocols into place to be able to proceed with senior portraits. Out of an abundance of caution FCPS is directing that Senior Portraits be taken in clothing that the student wears or brings to the photo session and NOT shared garments supplied by the photographer (drapes, tuxedo jackets, etc.). All members of the Class of 2021 will be mailed a card with directions on how to sign up for an appointment date. Please be on the lookout for this appointment card. Portrait dates are set for August 19-Sept. 1. Three days prior to the appointment, the student needs to complete the Health Questionnaire found on this page. If the answer to any of the questions is yes, the student will need to reschedule the appointment. Information on the safety protocols that have put in place to facilitate a safe portrait process can be found here.
