General Information

SIS Parent Account

The SIS Parent Account (otherwise known as “ParentVUE”) is a secure portal for parents to view information about student schedules, demographics, attendance, current class performance, and grade reports. Parents can now also update student information (phone numbers, emergency contacts, health conditions, and immunization dates) online using the Online Verification Update Packet (OVU) in their ParentVUE account. Once you log in, look for the "Online Packets" button to access the Online Verification Update Packet. Before school begins parents should log in to their account to review and update all necessary information.  

Counselor Assignments

Due to staffing changes on our counseling team and overall student enrollment, we have adjusted our counselor alphabetical breakdown for students in grades 9, 10, and 11. Current 12th grade students (Class of 2024) will continue to work with their assigned school counselor from the previous year. CSS students and English Language Learners will now utilize their alpha counselor. These changes help balance counselor-to-student ratios and ensures each student has full access to counselors to receive individualized academic advising, college and career guidance, and social/emotional support as needed. Counselors will be back on contract on August 3.     Class Schedules

    Class schedules will go live in StudentVUE at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17. Students can log in using their FCPS username and password. Students who are new to FCPS will not have access until school begins.

    Bell Schedule & Calendar

    Student Laptops

    Students will receive a school-issued laptop as part of the FCPSOn initiative. These will be distributed over the first two days of school, and there is no fee associated with school issued laptops this school year.

    School Supplies

    There is no common school supplies list.

      Lockers

      Ninth and tenth grade students will be able to access their locker assignment and combination in StudentVUE on August 17. Eleventh and twelfth grade students may request a locker. Students will access via their FCPS account.

        • MySchoolBucks.com is an easy way to set up student lunch accounts and make school-related payments for various items such as parking permits, library fees, dance tickets, and transcripts.
        • Create an account if you haven't already done so.

        PTSA

        • Join the PTSA
        • The PTSA will provide an electronic directory to all Madison PTSA members. It will be password protected and mobile friendly. If you wish to opt-out of the directory, complete the necessary pages of the Opt-Out Booklet and return the signed form to our Student Information Assistant Ashley Mendez.
